Greystone is proud to offer our unique line of handmade baskets, which are sure to enhance your country or primitive antiques. The basket designer and weaver has cultivated and nurtured her basket line over the past twenty years. Her homemade formula demanding 7 steps of individually applied latex paint, stain, and elbow grease, all time-consuming, give the baskets their unique “look”. The antique finish softens the look of the baskets. The expanded muted colors selection, for example, candy apple, dirty white, green, navy, mustard, brown, black, work well with any type of country or primitive décor. However, it is the great variety of shapes that keep buyers coming back. These baskets are collectibles for some, while serving as functional containers for others. The baskets range from miniatures to extra tall berry baskets, from skinny pockets to wall baskets. The artist weaves new life into past familiar beloved baskets by altering, changing, or embellishing certain shapes, while always creating and designing new baskets.
